# Introduction

Welcome to the official documentation for the Astra HTTP API, currently in version **1.0**. This API serves as the backend for the ASTRA UI application and any other external service, exposing real-time data and insights about the managed batteries.

The following diagram illustrates the end-to-end architecture of the Vitro monitoring platform. This system is designed to ensure real-time visibility, historical traceability, and predictive insights into the health of critical battery infrastructure
